Meredith Lime Voice & Piano Faculty
Meredith Lime received her Bachelors of Vocal Music Education from University of Nebraska at Omaha, and is certified to teach music K-12 in Nebraska. For the past nine years, Meredith has taught vocal and instrumental music in PK-8 schools around the metro, most recently teaching vocal music at Lifegate Christian School for six years, where she also taught private voice lessons of all ages and directed and produced six middle school musicals. Meredith performs around town in musical theater and solo work, as well as being a member of her chancel and bell choirs at Zion Lutheran Church. Meredith has sung in professional choirs, praise and worship bands, traditional church choirs, musical theater, operas, jazz combos, and more.
In addition to her experience in vocal performance and choral directing, Meredith has played piano for 28 years, accompanying many vocalists and choirs, including her own students and choirs. Meredith also dabbles with violin, saxophone, guitar, recorder, and ukulele and has taught all of these instruments in her time as a music teacher. (Meredith is a serious musician who is not afraid to be silly.)* Meredith has three daughters with her husband Charles, a classical guitarist. Meredith is currently pursuing Kodály certification as well as a Masters in School Counseling from Concordia University.
