Study Singing with Professionals
Who Understand the Voice

Everyone who teaches voice lessons at Sing Omaha Studios earned a degree in voice. This is critical, because the e art of teaching singing requires extensive knowledge about the intricacies of the voice to ensure that technique is healthy and repeatable. Add this expertise to their years of experience both teaching and performing professionally, and you have a dynamic skillset to draw from in each week’s lesson.

Additionally, every teacher is trained in Sing Omaha’s uniquely-crafted curriculum, which ensures that each student gets the best experience possible. Finally, we pride ourselves on our faculty being a team, and we recognize their individual strengths, so, at the time of registration, you help us to create a student profile which we use to match you or your child with a teacher who will help to meet and exceed your goals.

Singing Lessons

Sing Omaha Studios’ applied voice curriculum is founded in the bel canto tradition, and focuses one healthy vocal production of chiaroscuro (bright-dark) tone. Age-appropriate repertoire paired with expert technical instruction will ensure that singers can approach a variety of genres with both stylistic and pedagogical integrity.

Classically-focused voice students will study music in multiple languages, and will learn the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), which will allow them to correctly pronounce singing diction in: English, Italian, German, Latin, and French.

Additionally, voice students at Sing Omaha Studios are provided a comprehensive music theory study, which focuses on fundamental musicianship that is directly applicable to their focus on singing. Students will learn note names, note values, rhythm skills, key signatures, time signatures, important terminology, and more; all of which will be highlighted in their repertoire study. We specialize in long-term voice lessons to craft voices into versatile instruments that are capable of singing with healthy, age-appropriate technique in any style or genre.

Why Sing Omaha Studios?

Sing Omaha Studios offers the best instruction in the area. I took guitar lessons at two other places before coming here, and now I’m hooked. I get everything I need here, and my lesson is the highlight of my week!

Our daughter has taken piano and voice lessons at Sing Omaha since 2017, and we have been incredibly impressed with the experience. The faculty are outstanding, and the communication from the office is always timely and professional.

My son just started drum lessons and the experience has been awesome. He’s motivated to practice at home, and can’t wait to go to lessons every week. We’re excited for the opportunity to get him playing with other musicians, but for now, he’s loving getting better on his own.
